This kit is a replica of the resin saber shot out of R2’s dome in ROTJ. It is also commonly referred to as the (Wired) saber because it was in an article of WIRED Magazine. There are only a few reference photos of this prop but the few photos we do have show some unique details that have been replicated in this piece. This saber is cast in white resin just like the original screen used movie prop and comes in a raw, unpainted finish. They come mostly pre prepped and ready to paint, however due to the casting process there may small bubbles in the resin itself that need to be filled but this is rare.

These R2 sabers are accurately painted and weathered (to the best of my ability with the limited amount of reference photos we have). These feature my layered paint technique on the silver/grey sections to replicate how the prop is seen in WIRED Magazine. These are cast from white resin just like the original prop.
